What it does

A camera writes the index of a video file last. If the battery dies or the app is killed mid-recording, that index is never written and the file becomes unplayable even though the footage is still there. This app rebuilds the index on your device so the recording plays again.

What it also does

• Finds unfinished and orphaned media left behind by camera and recorder apps
• Copies any file out byte-for-byte, verifying the source is unchanged
• Recovers audio where the platform decoder allows it, with manual alignment as a fallback

What it cannot do

Without root, no Android app can undelete. Once storage blocks are reused the data is gone. This app recovers files that still exist but are broken, truncated or unfinished - it does not resurrect deleted data, and it does not claim to.
