Your photos, videos and files never leave your device. Recovery runs entirely on your phone. There is no account, and we cannot see your media.
You choose a folder through Android's own file picker. The app can read only what you grant, and it writes recovered files to your device's media library. It does not request access to other applications' private storage.
If you agree to analytics, the app records a small number of anonymous product events - for example that a scan started, how long it took, and whether it succeeded. Collection is off until you say yes. You can turn it off at any time.
We never collect: filenames, file paths, your media or any part of it, device serial numbers, or the contents of anything you recover.
The app may show a rewarded advertisement, which you choose to watch, before a recovered video is exported. Advertising partners may receive the data needed to serve an ad, as described in their own policies. Declining an ad never blocks the app: repair, export and file recovery are never gated behind advertising.
Analytics and advertising identifiers are collected only after you give affirmative consent, and collection stops when you withdraw it. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not delete data that was already sent. Aggregated analytics are retained for 14 months.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
You can use the app without analytics consent. You can withdraw consent in the app's settings at any time.
